Geladaindong Peak, on China’s Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is 6,621 meters above sea level. It is the traditional source of the Yangtze River with glaciers on its surface. The melting water pools together to form a blue ice lake. Glacial water gradually converges into the rolling Yangtze River.
