A 357-km Jiangmen-Zhanjiang railway has commenced operations in south China's Guangdong Province. This new railway has shortened the travel time from Zhanjiang City of western Guangdong to Guangzhou City to only three hours compared to the previous eight, which will benefit some 22 million people.
