At least six people were killed and five others were injured after a blast in a warehouse on Monday in Pingyin County, east China's Shandong Province.

The explosion took place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday inside a warehouse facility at a carbon plant.

An investigation into what caused the blast is currently underway.
