Early on the afternoon of April 24, Xi visited Xujiachong Village in Taipingxi County near the Three Gorges Dam. Villagers there were washing clothes. They told Xi that with the newly built clothes-washing sink, they no longer have to wash clothes next to the river and it’s more environment-friendly. Xi said that he was happy to see everyone living a happy life.
