Cathay Pacific has partnered with luggage service Airportr to launch a new convenient bag pick-up and check-in integrated service, which allows Cathay Pacific customers to have their bags collected from anywhere in London, ahead of departures from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Through the use of Airportr's digital service, passengers can book a collection via a fully integrated site for departures from the two airports in London. The service costs from 30 pounds for collection, providing a one bag check-in for 30 pounds with an one-hour slot and an up to four bags check-in for 40 pounds with a three-hour slot.
This new fully integrated service means that Cathay Pacific customers can travel to the airport without their luggage at hands as well as avoid the long queues for check-in services and head directly to security at the airports.
Once customers book the service, the luggage will be loaded onto the aircraft and travel on the same flight. Customers can also get updates on the status of their bags throughout the journey.
