Diego Maradona has recorded yet another episode of his World Cup special program "By the Hand of the Ten," and talked about Argentina's pitiful loss to France in the last 16 immediately after the game was over in Kazan. The former squad captain expressed his sorrow and also looked ahead to the future of Argentine football generation.
As the Albiceleste said goodbye to the World Cup, the icon blamed the Argentine football association (AFA) for the performance of the side.
Maradona said that the outcome was predictable, given the performances shown by the Argentine team in their three previous matches.
“This does not surprise me at all”, said Maradona.
In addition, the maestro also mentioned that the responsibility is not with the players, “the president of the AFA has to come out with some solutions so that our next generation of players can come up.”
