Myanmar will send 40 of its top tourism management personnel to receive training at the 18th seminar for China-ASEAN tourism personal education and training base in China from November 18 to 28.
The selected tourism personnel are from the China Tourism Service Association in Myanmar, Myanmar Tourism Federation (MTF), Myanmar Tour Guide Association (MTGA), Myanmar Chinese Guide Society (MCGS) and Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA).
Managed by the Guangxi Tourism Development Committee, the training program for Myanmar will be conducted by Guangxi University for Nationalities in Nanning and Guilin Tourism University, according to the program orientation event held on Tuesday.
The 11-day program will feature contents about tourists' consumption psychology, the development trend of the tourism market, the basis theory of tourism, on-site teaching in 5A scenic spots in China, thematic discussion and famous Chinese tourism performances.
Nearly 1,000 tourism professions from ASEAN countries have been trained under this program so far.
