Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will pay a four-day visit to China from January 20 to 23 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Monday.
He will meet and exchange views with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li during his visit.
He will also meet Li Zhanshu, chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee and Wang Yang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Hun Sen will attend an economic and trade forum between China and Cambodia, among other activities.
The visit is believed to further improve the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia and push forward the in-depth development of the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries, said Hua.
Hun Sen paid his last visit to China from September 12 to 15, 2018. He attended the 15th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, the provincial capital of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
China and Cambodia celebrated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties in July last year.
