Serie A’s Inter Milan has “warned” Manchester United not to touch their Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, reported Tuttosport. The Italian club said that Perisic is not for sale.
It has been no secret that Jose Mourinho, manager of Man U was interested in Perisic. They made an offer for him in the past 2017-18 season, but was turned down by Inter Milan. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Mourinho praised Perisic for his excellent performances on the field.

“Perisic is the kind of winger that is different to the others. Normally you look at wingers and they are just fast and creative. But he is also physical, very physical, fantastic in the air,” said the Portuguese manager.
Though Man U already have Anthony Martial in their squad, the 22-year-old young man was neither steady on the field, nor did he seem to fit Mourinho’s style. He wanted to send Martial away, but only after he could find a reliable, or better replacement for winger. Perisic makes the perfect option with his steadily good performances in the past few seasons and key goals at the World Cup.

As for Inter Milan, the team has returned to the UEFA Champions League after seven years by defeating Lazio 3-2 in the last round of 2017-18 Serie A season. They have every reason not to sell Perisic, one of the most important players to the team before the new season starts.
The latest transfer window for Premier League will close on August 9, leaving Man U less and less time to settle deals over players they want. Multiple media outlets have reported that the Red Devils are also chasing Chelsea’s Willian and Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale. Either way, Man U must be ready to write some big checks.
