Grand Songs, the most representative public chorus of the Dong people, was listed as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. Dong people begin to learn to sing the Grand Songs at a young age and it has been a tradition for them to sing the songs not only during the ritual, but also in their daily lives to express their love for their family members. /VCG Photo

In order to pass on the valuable tradition to the next generation, Hu began to teach younger people to sing the traditional songs in the village. From the drum tower, the flower bridge, to her own home, any place can be a classroom. /VCG Photo
