A stunt show of electric vehicles (EVs), as part of the six-day China EV Rally 2018, Qinghai Lake, in northwest China's Qinghai Province, thrilled the audience around China’s largest lake on Sunday.
The rally features only electric cars, and is also the world's highest-altitude E-car competition. Themed on green and low-carbon traveling, it also showcases abundant new energy resources, as well as the beautiful natural landscapes and ecological environment of Qinghai.

With this year’s theme entitled “EV-Led New Era,” about 50 cars took part in the event. Celebrities and sports champions lent their support on site.
Participants are required to demonstrate the performance limits of their EVs via various stunts, including suspension – moving with two wheels on the ground, flexibility – forward-reverse serpentine and so forth.
“With the popularity of electric cars, the public’s awareness of environmental protection is also growing. I believe that this new energy is an inevitable trend for future development,” said Ma Yunwen, who won the world women’s volleyball championship. She hopes the rally can promote the development of China’s new-energy automobile industry and called for people to protect the environment.
The EVs will accept performance tests on Tuesday, which will last for three days totaling 991 kilometers in eight segments.
