Coastguards in China's eastern Fujian Province seized 20 million yuan (2.8 million U.S. dollars) of smuggled goods on November 25 from a ship that was first detected by radar in the waters off the coast of Xiapu County. Fourteen suspects were detained and 942 smuggled items, including sneakers and cosmetics, were confiscated.
