A baby monkey died just two days after its birth at the Xiangyang Zoo, central China's Hubei Province. The mother monkey tightly cradled her dead offspring, refusing to let go. Her eyes filled with sorrow as she stroked the lifeless newborn. She held the baby even tighter when approached by others.
