Seven killed as militants attack five-star hotel in SW Pakistan

Four militants stormed a five-star hotel in the Gwadar district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan Province on Saturday afternoon.

All four militants were shot dead during the confrontation, local police said.
Three security guards from the hotel were killed during the gun battle with the militants, four others from the hotel staff are reportedly injured.
Most guests at the hotel were safely evacuated, local authorities confirmed. 
Local militant group, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), has claimed responsibility for the attack saying it was targeting foreign investors.
The Chinese embassy in Karachi said that there is no information about any Chinese citizen being affected in this incident.

At least three militants attacked a five-star hotel in Pakistan's Gwadar city in southwest Balochistan province on Saturday, a local official said.
The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. local time on Saturday.
Local border guards secured the hotel after the incident happened. At present, the confrontation between the militants and security forces have not yet ended. 
People have been evacuated from the hotel, the local authority said.
Several people were reported injured, and the militants killed one guard at the entrance to the hotel, according to the reports.
No foreigners were staying in the hotel when the incident happened, said the police.
