The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong Un arrived at St Regis hotel in Singapore on Sunday, two days ahead of his historic meeting in the city-state with US President Donald Trump.
Kim landed at Singapore's Changi Airport after his longest trip overseas as head of state. He was greeted by Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, who posted a picture on Twitter, shaking hands with Kim and the message: "Welcomed Chairman Kim Jong Un, who has just arrived in Singapore."

Kim is due to meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The US president was scheduled to arrive at Singapore's Paya Lebar Airbase at 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, directly from the weekend’s G-7 meetings in Canada, and reside at Shangri-La Hotel, according to the White House.
Trump is set to meet with Lee on Monday.
The planned Trump-Kim summit is due to take place at 9 a.m. local time on Tuesday at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island.
