Huawei’s CEO of consumer business, Richard Yu presented the business plans for 5G smartphones to media in Beijing on Thursday morning. Ryan Ding, chief of Huawei's carrier business group, also introduced a preview of what Huawei will bring to the Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona. Huawei has launched the world's first core chip, specifically designed for 5G-base stations.
