Serie A's Napoli announced on Wednesday with a statement on its official website that 58-year-old Carlo Ancelotti will be leading the team as head coach for the coming three years.
"SSC Napoli is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with Carlo Ancelotti for him to become the head coach of the first team for three seasons starting in 2018/19," said the club in the statement.

"I am really happy and honored to manage a team with a unique city and incredible fans," said Ancelotti.
Ancelotti has signed a three-year contract with Napoli that pays him about 7.61 million US dollars a year, according to Tencent Sports.

Ancelotti has been working as head coach of different famous football clubs including Parma Calcio 1913, Juventus F.C., A.C. Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich. He won three titles at UEFA Champions League and also the first head coach that has won champions at Serie A, Premier League, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga.
Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis has also expressed his gratitude to the team's former head coach Maurizio Sarri on Twitter: "I thank Maurizio Sarri for his dedication to Napoli, which has brought great prestige and joy to the city and the fans by creating a style of football which is admired everywhere and by everyone. Well done Maurizio. "
