Britain's Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, expressed optimism for China's entrepreneurial drive when he spoke to CGTN at the second "Pitch@Palace China" held in Beijing on Friday.
The activity, founded by the Prince, aims to recognize the profound role that entrepreneurship is playing and will play in the economic world. He attributed this boom to China’s huge domestic market, “which probably is quite happy to be disrupted into numbers of different entrepreneurial ways.” Meanwhile, Prince Andrew appreciated the country’s efforts to create positive conditions for entrepreneurs to “prosper”, such as increasing investment in the area and raising incubator spaces.
Besides this, the British aristocrat said he hopes that competition within the field will boost cooperation in science and innovation between the two countries.
