Jordan is a Middle Eastern country caught between tradition and modernity.
Even though the country is adorned with fancy cars and the latest technology, Jordanians still turn to old customs when it comes to finding a spouse.
Indeed, finding love is a top priority, as family remains a pillar of stability in the country.
Saeed Raja Abdulal' al Ruzzeh is a professional matchmaker who helps to facilitate 300 to 350 marriages a year.

In recent years, Jordan has witnessed a growing number of online dating sites. Like elsewhere, other popular ways of connecting include Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat.
However, when it comes to finding that special someone, some Jordanians have a negative opinion of going online to do so.
Regardless of the method to find that lifelong partner, one thing is certain: love is big business in Jordan.
