The Sun City Camp, a luxurious camp built in Wadi Rum desert, Jordan, offered visitors an experience similar to living on Mars. Various inflatable dome tents were built on the red-dirt landscapes in the desert, which greatly resembled the typical landscapes on Mars. /VCG Photo

Inspired by the 2015 Oscar-nominated film “The Martian,” Sultan Al-Nawafleh, CEO of the camp, decided to build it in Wadi Rum desert, which was also close to where the movie was filmed. /VCG Photo

Currently, there are approximately 162 dome tents in the desert, but only five of them are used as accommodations for tourists, including the Sun Day Camp, according to CNN. /VCG Photo

Each tent room offers hotel facilities such as a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, a terrace as well as a unique glass wall that allows tourists to get views of the desert and surrounding mountains. /VCG Photo
