China's Su Bingtian Wednesday won the 60 meters at the AIT International Indoor Grand Prix in Athlone, Republic of Ireland.
There is a confusing part of his record result: the Athletics Ireland via Twitter and Chinese media, for example, Xinhua, CCTV5 and Sina Sport, reported it as 6.52 seconds.

But both the Athlone IT and AIT Sport tweeted that it was 6.53 seconds, which could be further supported by the timer's screenshot of his live performance.

There were 14 runners participating in this event. Divided into two groups for the preliminaries, Su who won silver at the World Indoor Championships last year, competed in lane five at the event.
The runner-up was Kamakawi Takuna of Japan with a personal best record of 6.58 seconds, and the third was Confidence Lawson of the UK who finished in 6.70 seconds.
For the 29-year-old Chinese, Su is also the only Asian sprinter to run within 10 seconds for the 100 meters.
His opponents also included local hopefuls Marcus Lawler, who was the four-time Irish national indoor champion, and fresh talent Leo Morgan.
