Chinese giant panda center breeds 31 cubs in 2018

The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda artificially bred 31 panda cubs in 2018. It took the Center 10 years to tackle three challenges to artificially breeding giant pandas, that is, they are hard to rut, get fertilized and raise. The center has so far built up the largest captive giant panda population in the world, increasing the number of pandas to as many as 285.
