Today we continue with the sixth edition of our special World Cup series The Different Perspective. Greg Laffradi sat down with short track speed skater Wu Daijing, China's only gold medalist at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and the first Chinese to top the podium in the men's 500 meters at a Winter Games.
The 24-year-old likes to watch football, and being a Germany fan, he has some pretty bold predictions ahead of their final match in the group stage against South Korea on Wednesday.
The Olympic hero said he has mostly checked out the matches featuring the Asian countries, such as South Korea against Sweden and Japan vs Colombia.
He believes teamwork is the key to success for Germany, the titleholders.
Wu believes the Germans will play well but that Portugal may actually lift the title. He expects Ronaldo will earn the Golden Boot.
In his opinion, the joy of sharing victory with teammates is the best thing for a sportsperson.
