The FA Cup’s defending champions Shanghai Shenhua threw away a two-goal lead and lost 3-2 to Nantong Zhiyun in the tournament's fourth round on Wednesday.
The champs scored within the first ten minutes, as Wang Lin's cross found Gao Lin, who headed it home to make it 1-nil. Shanghai added to the advantage when Zhang Lu tripped in the area. Wang Yun's effort from the spot helped the visitors lead 2-nil.

The hosts tried to pull the table back in the second half, Ji Jun raised high to meet this cross, and his header bounced off a Shenhua player to make it 2-1. Then Nantong equalised five minutes later off a free kick, as Hu Ming left unmarked in the area.
The CSL club were on the verge of a major upset, and the League Two side, with all the momentum scored four minutes from time, with Ji alone in front, sending the ball into an empty net.
Nantong Zhiyun beat the defending champions 3-2, and moved into the last 16.
