Suicide attack injures three Chinese in SW Pakistan

A suicide attack wounded six people, including three Chinese nationals, in southwestern Pakistan near a bus carrying Chinese engineers from Baluchistan to Karachi on Saturday, Consulate-General of China in Karachi, Pakistan confirmed. 
The injured people are now in stable conditions, local police said. 
The attack happened in the Dalbandin region, around 340 kilometers from Quetta, the capital of southwestern Balochistan province. The Chinese engineers were heading to Karachi on the bus to work on a mineral project. 
The Consulate-General of China in Karachi said in a statement that the Chinese government always attaches a high level of importance to the protection of overseas Chinese enterprises and Chinese citizens. China strongly condemns this attack and offers deep condolences to the injured Chinese and Pakistani citizens.
Chinese authorities, the Embassy of China in Pakistan and Consulate-General of China in Karachi reacted to the attack promptly by starting the emergency response system, and are working closely with Pakistani officials while also calling for a thorough investigation on the incident. Further measures by Pakistan were also required from the Chinese side to ensure the safety of Chinese organizations and citizens in Pakistan.
