Rumors swirling online that the Central Economic Work Conference has decided to not cut taxes and reduce fees are contrary to facts, according to a statement by the Financial Stability and Development Committee under the State Council published on the central bank's website on Friday.

Tax cuts and fee deductions are expected to be the main focus of the Central Economic Work Conference, China's most important annual meeting on economy held from Wednesday to Friday, according to Xinhua News Agency.
