Huawei under US 'investigation' over Iran sanctions, reports WSJ

The US Justice Department is thought to be investigating possible violations of sanctions relating to Iran by Chinese telecom company Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., according to the Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper reported the story on Wednesday citing unnamed sources but said they were talking to people "familiar with the matter".

The US Justice Department has not confirmed the report and according to the the Wall Street Journal Huawei declined to comment when approached.
