While attending the panel discussion of NPC deputies from central China’s Henan province on Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping noted the improved two-way flow between the country’s rural and urban areas. An increasing number of college graduates have been returning to their home villages and towns to seek job opportunities in recent years. Many with overseas degrees now also choose to work and start businesses in the countryside, due to those areas becoming more integrated with cities thanks to better roads and telecom infrastructure.
