At least two people were killed and 13 others were injured after a car rammed into pedestrians due to a brake failure on Monday afternoon in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, according to a statement by local authorities.
Witnesses said the incident took place at about 7 p.m. BJT, when a car lost control before going into the bike lane and colliding with pedestrians.
The injured have been hospitalized, while an investigation into the incident is underway.
