‍Last year, the Palace Museum in Beijing’s Forbidden City invited a few special guests for an exhibition on the sika deer. The animal is considered to be an auspicious and lucky sign during ancient times.

Coincidentally, according to the Palace Museum, one of the female deer gave birth to a cub while staying in the Palace Museum, and the mother and child met the public at the beginning of this month in the garden of Cining Palace.
