A huge hailstorm destroyed homes and cars and left thousands without power in Queensland, Australia. It was the second damaging round of storms in as many days, with a fast-moving, gusty storm cell surging up the coast. Large hailstones measuring up to four centimeters in diameter pelted down on homes and parked cars on the Gold Coast. Wind gusts up to 94km/h were also recorded.
