A train in northern Italy plowed into a big-rig truck that was on the tracks, killing the train's engineer and injuring 16 passengers on Wednesday. One passenger was critically injured while the other 15 were in less serious condition. For unknown reasons, the truck rushed over the already lowered roadblocks and crashed into the tracks. Rescuers searched the wreckage in case any passengers were trapped.
