The "Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality" exhibition has kicked off at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. The display also includes more than 160 exquisite pieces of ancient Chinese artwork made from gold, jade and bronze. The terracotta figures on display were among the estimated 8,000 life-size sculptures of warriors and chariots. Special measures have been taken to protect the exhibits in New Zealand as the country is prone to seismic activity.
