Whiskered tern: Seabird that breeds far from off sea

During the breeding season, the whiskered tern prefers building their nests in the reeds, which provide perfect protection of their chicks.
As one of the seabird species, however, whiskered terns are often found on inland marshes some 20 kilometers from the sea.
