The leader of the terrorist group ISIL, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, said the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka were his organization's revenge for losses in its last territorial stronghold of Baghouz in Syria. Baghdadi makes his first purported appearance in five years in a propaganda video, whose authenticity could not be verified. He also threatens more retaliation in what he calls a "long battle" ahead.
