Renowned Taiwan artist holds first exhibition in Chinese mainland

Chiang Hsun, a respected art critic from Taiwan has launched his first exhibition in the Chinese mainland from June 9 to 15 in Shanghai.
The exhibition called "Great Beauty on Earth – Chiang Hsun’s Art and Life" features his recent art, manuscripts, and recordings, along with a series of themed lectures and other activities.

Against the backdrop of globalization, many of Chiang Hsun’s works focus on reviving Eastern aesthetics in the modern age.
The exhibition is organized by Christie’s, the world’s biggest auction house. 
“Mr. Chiang has been devoted to the dissemination of Eastern and Western art, which also echoes Christie’s mission in China. To us, Chiang Hsun is not only an advocate but also a practitioner of art-making, who promotes both artistic creation and aesthetic appreciation," said Rebecca Wei, president of Christie's Asia.
