Giant panda Yuan Yuan was officially handed over to the Schoenbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria in a grand ceremony on Monday morning. Senior Chinese and Austrian officials attended the ceremony. Yuan Yuan is a 19-year-old male who was chosen as a partner for Yang Yang, the zoo's 18-year-old female panda. Yang Yang's previous partner Long Hui died of cancer in 2016.
