Sri Lankan police said they carried out a controlled explosion of a suspicious motorbike near the Savoy Cinema in the capital Colombo on Wednesday.
There were no explosives in the vehicle, police said.
A string of explosions hit several cities in Sri Lanka on Sunday, killing at least 359 people and injured hundreds more.
