The 2019 FINA Diving World Series finished the third event in Montreal, Canada on Sunday. Chinese athletes won two gold medals in the Women's 3m Springboard and Mixed 3m Synchronized, finishing their competitions.
The final of the Women's 3m Springboard was mainly between China's Wang Han and Shi Tingmao. In the first three dives from 405B, 205B to 305B, Wang achieved a lead of 9.00 points (229.50-22-.50) in two of them before Shi won one dive back in 107B 77.50-74.40. In their last dive of 5152B, Wang again exceled Shi by 1.50 points (73.50-72.00), defeating Shi 377.40-370.00 again after the Beijing Event and winning her second Women's 3m Springboard title.
In the Mixed 3m Synchronized final, China's Yang Hao/Chang Yani had a close contest with Thomas Daley/Grace Reid from Britain. Though Yang/Chang underperformed 301B in the second dive (46.20 points), they did a good job in 205B of the third dive and established a lead of 7.80 points (174.60-166.80) over Daley/Reid since then before pocketing the final victory with 318.15 points.

In the final of Men 3m Springboard on Saturday, China's Xie Siyi beat Britain's Jack Laugher by a decided margin of 28.80 points (537.65-508.85). Cao Yuan who also comes from China got the bronze medal with 495.70 points.
In Women's 10m Platform, Chinese athletes pocketed both the championship and the runner-up. Thanks to her incredible performance the last four dives, Lu Wei won the gold with 423.85 points. Her compatriot Si Yajie had the silver with 390.60 points, followed by Kim Mi Rae from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The title of Mixed 10m Synchronized went to China's Lian Junjie/Si Yajie (342.21 points) who beat Hyon Il Myong/Jo Jin Mi from the DPRK (320.10 points) and Nikita Shleikher/Iuliia Timoshinina from Russia (310.08 points).
The other three Chinese teams of gold medalists are Yang Hao/Lian Junjie in Men's 10m Synchronized, Wang Han/Shi Tingmao in Women's 3m Synchronized and Cao Yuan/Xie Sisi in Men's 3m Synchronized.
