In the 2019 Chinese Football Association Cup (CFA Cup), Chinese Super League (CSL) club Jiangsu Suning swept China League Two outfit Hebei Elite 4-0 at home to reach the last 16, staying in the hunt to win the trophy for the first time since 2015.
The home side took the lead with nine minutes to go until the break. Wang Song sent in a corner and Ji Xiang, the Jiangsu defender who has been at the club for 11 years, opened the scoring.
Two minutes after the break, Jiangsu doubled their lead. Chaos in the visitors' box ended up with Luo Jing's latter finisher low into the bottom corner.
Having set up the first goal, Wang scored the third with a brilliant free kick in the 53rd minute. It has turned out to be a decent week for free-kicks following Lionel Messi's effort a couple of days ago.

The 4th goal then arrived with 17 minutes left when Elite was caught out playing a high line. Zhang Lingfeng played in Feng Boyuan for an easy tap in to get his first goal for the club.
The CFA Cup comes into the last 16, featuring the draws of 11 clubs from the CSL, two from League One, another pair from League Two, and one from the fourth tier.
Coming highlights include Dalian Yifang hosting the lowest remaining side Shanghai Jiading, Jiangsu Suning welcoming Shandong Luneng, Guangzhou Evergrande going up against Beijing Renhe, CSL reigning champions Shanghai SIPG facing League Two's Jilin Baijia, and FA Cup holders Beijing Guoan taking on League One's Changchun Yatai.
The round of 16 is set for May 28 to 30.
