The tulou in Yongding District, Longyan, Fujian Province, were built by the Hakka people, who are said to have migrated south from the Yellow River basin as early as the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420). With the Spring Festival just around the corner, CGTN traveled to rural Fujian Province for a glimpse of the tulou, the Hakka and their rice wine.
