Brazilian star forward Neymar is said to have achieved physical recovery progress during his restarted training for the upcoming World Cup. "He has evolved well. He trains every day. I could even say that his development is better than expected," the trainer, Fabio Mahseredjian, said on May 23.
The 26-year-old Paris St-Germain player broke a bone in his feet on Feb. 25 and underwent a surgery in March.

Team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar, who was also leading the operation on Neymar, believed "he's regaining his usual movements bit by bit. The next step is full group training and then playing games. Everything is being done for him to feel at ease."
The Brazilian national team has named the "most expensive player" in its World Cup squad, as he signed Barcelona striker for a world record fee at 222 million euros (259 million US dollars).
He is likely to test his recovery during friendly matches against Croatia on June 3 and Austria on June 10, ahead of the Brazilian opening at the World Cup against Switzerland on June 17.
