Firefighters rescued a couple who were stranded on top of a minivan in a flash flood in Rizhao City, east China's Shandong Province on August 19. According to reports, the couple tried to drive a minivan across a bridge to escape the floods but got stuck. The two were rescued thanks to the help of both local villagers and firefighters.
