According to Klosi, the Albanian government has a tourism development plan which will focus on four main directions related to co-operation with local government, service improvement, investment in infrastructure and marketing.
Official data from the National Institute of Statistics show that up to now during the month of September, Albania has received 606,000 tourists, about 31 percent more compared with the same period last year, according to Klosi. In addition, in March 2018, the number of foreign citizen arrivals to the territory of Albania during the first two months of 2018, was 422,869 persons, increasing by 18 percent compared with the same period of 2017.
