Growth of China's exports to US slows in H1

China’s exports to the US expanded 5.4 percent in the first half of the year, according to the General Administration of Customs, down 13.9 percentage points on a yearly basis. 
China’s exports of mechanical and electrical products to the US increased by eight percent, accounting for 62.6 percent of China’s total exports to the US during the same period. Among them, automatic data processing equipment and components increased by 3.6 percent, and mobile phones increased by 5.5 percent. 
The total export value of the seven categories of traditional labor-intensive products was basically the same as that of the same period last year. Among them, clothing fell by 1.8 percent, and furniture increased by 2.5 percent.
Exports to the US increased 3.8 percent in June, down 23.8 percentage points.  
Specifically, China’s exports of mechanical and electrical products to the US increased by four percent in June. Among them, automatic data processing equipment and components decreased by 6.6 percent, and mobile phones decreased by 7.1 percent in June. The exports of traditional labor-intensive products increased by 3.5 percent, and agricultural products fell by 0.9 percent.
