Three years ago, an abandoned newborn elephant was rescued in southwestern China’s Yunnan Province by the Asian Elephant Breeding and Rescue Center and it has been staying in the center since then. Its caretakers celebrated its birthday on August 12, which is also the World Elephant Day.
