Mountain sports, as well as apple picking and rose festivals, are among tourism events that will be staged this year in Xiaojin County in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The events were promoted with traditional local performances at the Global Harbor Mall in Shanghai's Putuo District on Monday. Craft workers displayed the local intangible cultural heritage of Jiarong embroidery weaving.
Local agricultural and specialty products such as tea, beef and cordyceps sinensis fungus were on display as well as a photo exhibition featuring the county's natural scenery.
