Small aircraft pilots gathered at Flanders International Airport in Belgium on Tuesday in preparation for a competition in June which will test their precision during takeoff and landing. Competitors at the event will take off and land from the sandy beach near the Belgian resort town of Knokke-Heist in the shortest possible distance.
