Wu Xincheng, 64, former government counselor of northwest China's Shaanxi Province and the former vice director of Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and dismissed from public office for serious violations of discipline and law, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on Thursday.
An investigation found that Wu committed violations including taking bribes, according to the discipline inspectorate.
