The Qiantang tidal bore stages highest waves in Haining City on the 18th day of the eighth lunar month, which falls on September 27 this year.   Thousands of people gathered on the river bank to enjoy the amazing sight with different forms of tidal bores, including the one-line and criss-crossing tidal bores.
